The Philosophy of ONE

The Seven Great Truths

Before There Were Many, There Was ONE.

What if humanity has spent centuries beginning the story too late?

We begin with our religions, races, nations, cultures, denominations, politics, traditions, and different names for God.

The Philosophy of ONE invites us to go back further—to what existed before humanity divided itself.

Before our divisions. Before our labels. Before our competing versions of God.
There was ONE.

One God. One Humanity. One Movement.

The Beginning of the Story

Before there were many, there was ONE.

  1. Before our different names for God:

The Philosophy of ONE.

What Is the Philosophy of ONE?

A Way of Seeing God, Humanity, Life, and Our Shared Future

The Philosophy of ONE is a way of understanding God, humanity, life, and our shared future by beginning with the universal truths that existed before humanity divided itself by religion, race, nationality, culture, politics, and other human labels.

It is the foundational worldview of The God Way and God’s Unity Movement, built upon the Seven Great Truths.

The Philosophy of ONE does not ask humanity to become identical.

It does not require us to abandon our cultures.

It does not require everyone to belong to the same religious institution.

It does not require everyone to agree politically.

It does not require us to erase the histories and traditions that have shaped us.

Unity is not uniformity.

The Philosophy of ONE asks something deeper:

  • What existed before our divisions?
  • What remains true beneath our labels?
  • What universal truths could apply to human beings across cultures, nations, religions, and generations?
  • And what might happen if humanity learned to organize itself around those truths rather than continually destroying itself over its differences?

Why Humanity Needs the Philosophy of ONE

We Have Learned How to Advance Without Learning How to Unite

Humanity has made extraordinary technological, scientific, medical, and communications advances. We have learned to travel farther, communicate faster, cure diseases, build extraordinary technologies, and access more information than any generation before us.

Yet our advancement has not eliminated some of our oldest human problems.

  • war
  • hatred
  • religious conflict
  • racism
  • greed
  • corruption
  • exploitation
  • injustice
  • violence
  • dehumanization
  • division

We have become increasingly sophisticated in what we can do while still struggling with who we should be.

Perhaps humanity’s next great breakthrough cannot be technological alone.

Perhaps it must also be:

Spiritual.

Moral.

Relational.

Human.

The Foundation

The Seven Great Truths

Seven foundations of the Philosophy of ONE. Each one opens into a full teaching.

  1. 01

    One God

    One Source

Before humanity created religions, nations, traditions, institutions, and different names for the Divine, there was God.

One Beginning. One Spirit. One Creator. One Judge. One Sustainer. One Father of humanity. One God of Good.

  2. 02

    One Humanity

    One Human Family

Before our religious, racial, national, cultural, political, and social labels, we were human.

Our labels may describe us, but they should never determine another human being's fundamental worth.

    Human first. Labels second.

  3. 03

    One Standard of Good

    One Universal Standard

Across cultures, generations, and labels, humanity has encountered fundamental choices between truth and deception, love and hatred, justice and injustice, compassion and cruelty, helping and harming, good and evil.

The Philosophy of ONE teaches that universal and timeless characteristics and principles of good and evil transcend our human labels.

  4. 04

    One Religion of Good

    One Universal Spiritual Calling

Humanity's universal and timeless spiritual calling is to live bound to the One God through good—and whenever we depart from good, to return to alignment with God and good.

    One Eternity

    One Eternal Reality

    Physical life is temporary.

The Philosophy of ONE teaches that physical death is not the destruction of human existence but a transition beyond this temporary physical experience.

How we live matters. Character matters. Purpose matters. People matter. Good matters.

  6. 06

One Battle of Good vs. Evil

    One True Battle

Our ultimate enemy is not another human label.

Another race is not the enemy. Another religion is not the enemy. Another nationality is not the enemy. Another political party is not the enemy.

    Evil is the enemy.

Good intentions are not enough. When evil is organized, funded, and active, people of good must also organize, work together, and build systems that allow good to have greater influence.

  7. 07

    One System of Success

    God's System of Success

Our thoughts, words, attitudes, habits, choices, relationships, work, character, service, and contributions become seeds.

Over time, those seeds help produce the harvests of our lives.

The God Way calls this God's System of Success, built upon the universal principle of sowing and reaping.

From Philosophy to Movement

God's Unity Movement

Knowing something does not automatically change the world.

People must live it. Organize around it. Teach it. Build with it. Serve through it.

God’s Unity Movement takes the Philosophy of ONE beyond philosophy and asks: what could happen if people of good actually came together and lived this?

  • People of different religions serving together.
  • Different races building together.
  • Different generations learning together.
  • People using their gifts, talents, and resources to strengthen communities.
  • Young people learning to see humans before labels.
  • Families becoming stronger.
  • Businesses using their influence to create value and strengthen communities.
  • Communities confronting evil.
  • People becoming better versions of themselves.
  • Good people learning to recognize other good people regardless of the labels they carry.
  • People of good organizing together so good can have greater influence.

That is movement.

From Knowing to Becoming

The Goal Is Not Merely to Believe Seven Things

What are these truths producing in us?

  • More loving.
  • More truthful.
  • More disciplined.
  • More responsible.
  • More compassionate.
  • More courageous.
  • More just.
  • More useful.
  • More peaceful.
  • More willing to serve.

Truth that never changes how we live remains information.

The goal is transformation.

The Possibility

Imagine a World Built on ONE

  • Imagine people of different religions recognizing one another as members of the same human family.
  • Imagine children growing up without automatically inheriting the enemies of previous generations.
  • Imagine people being judged by character rather than labels.
  • Imagine people of goodwill working together against poverty, corruption, violence, injustice, hatred, and exploitation.
  • Imagine businesses creating value and solving human problems.
  • Imagine religious communities competing to do more good rather than prove greater superiority.
  • Imagine political disagreement without hatred.
  • Imagine talented people using their gifts to solve problems.

Imagine millions of people waking up asking:

How can I represent God and good in the world today?

Imagine good becoming organized.

Imagine good becoming influential.

Imagine good winning more battles.

Imagine humanity becoming better.

That is the possibility behind the Philosophy of ONE.

What If Humanity Started With What We Share?

We will not agree about everything. We do not need to.

We will not become culturally identical. We should not.

We will not all worship the same way. We do not have to.

But underneath those differences:

  • One God.
  • One Humanity.
  • One Standard of Good.
  • One Religion of Good.
  • One Eternity.
  • One Battle of Good vs. Evil.
  • One System of Success.

Seven Great Truths.

One Connected Philosophy.

One Invitation to Humanity.

Stop allowing our differences to make us forget what we share.

  • Know God beyond the divisions.
  • See the human before the label.
  • Choose good.
  • Live bound to God through good.
  • Live this temporary life with eternity in view.
  • Fight evil instead of one another.
  • Plant the seeds of the life and world you want to see.
  • Join with other people of good to build a better world.

One God. One Humanity. One Movement.
