The Seven Great Truths

These truths do not belong to one tradition. They stand before them all, and they hold the movement together.

  1. 1

    One God

    There Is One God

There is One God beyond humanity's names and religious associations.

Human beings have referred to the Divine in many ways across history, cultures, languages, and generations. But names do not create God. Religions do not create God. Human interpretations do not create God. Before humanity named God — there was God.

    One Humanity

Underneath Our Labels, We Are Human

Human first. Labels second. One human family.

Humanity has created thousands of labels — religion, denomination, race, ethnicity, nationality, politics, status, occupation, culture, geography, ideology. Those labels may describe aspects of our lives, but they do not change what we fundamentally are. We are human.

    One Standard of Good

    God Established Universal Human Expectations

    Goodness is greater than labels.

God established fundamental expectations for human living based upon universal and timeless principles of good and evil. These principles have always been available for human beings to recognize, learn, embody, and practice.

    One Religion of Good

The Original Religion Is the Religion of Good

Live in alignment with God and good.

Before humanity developed the many religious systems, institutions, denominations, customs, rituals, and identities known today, there existed a simpler spiritual expectation: live in alignment with God and good. We call this the Religion of Good.

    One Method of Judgement

Physical Life Is Not the End of Human Existence

Our time here is temporary. What follows is greater in duration.

Every human being will eventually transition out of physical life. God's Unity Movement believes humans ultimately transition into a spiritual state of existence, and that our earthly lives carry eternal significance.

One Battle of Good vs Evil

The Fundamental Conflict Is Good Versus Evil

God is the epitome of good. Satan is the epitome of evil.

Good and evil have always represented opposing realities regardless of time, culture, nationality, race, religion, denomination, political affiliation, or human label. Humanity was created to reflect and embody God's essence of good, so the fundamental adversary to becoming our best selves is evil.

    One System of Success

Success Is a Human Birthright Through Sowing and Reaping

Don't just wish for a harvest. Learn to sow for it.

Physical, emotional, spiritual, relational, and financial success is not reserved for a privileged few. God created a universal system through which outcomes can be influenced — God's System of Success — founded on the timeless law of sowing and reaping: Seed, Time, Cultivation, Harvest.
