Physical Life Is Not the End of Human Existence

Our time here is temporary. What follows is greater in duration.

Every human being will eventually transition out of physical life. God's Unity Movement believes humans ultimately transition into a spiritual state of existence, and that our earthly lives carry eternal significance.

Contrasting Outcomes

We believe there are ultimately contrasting spiritual outcomes associated with good and evil: eternal peace and freedom, or spiritual bondage, suffering, and separation. These outcomes are associated with how we have lived in relation to universal and timeless good and evil.

Taught Seriously, Never Manipulatively

The purpose of teaching eternity is not fear. It is clarity about the good God has placed within humanity and our responsibility to cultivate and express it now.

Questions for reflection

  • How should I live now?
  • What kind of person am I becoming?
  • What am I producing with this life?
  • Am I increasing good or increasing evil?
  • If physical life is temporary, what deserves my greatest attention?
